Batteryless telephone System

Batteryless telephone system is an emergency voice communication system that does not require any external power supply. The necessary energy to establish communications comes from a handle generator incorporated in the telephone. It is also available for hand / headset phone. There are different installation method: flush type, bulkhead type or wall mounting type, headset type.

This system also can be connected to 24 VDC power supply to ensure continuous operating under normal conditions. The system can be change-over automatically to batterylesss and emergency operating in case of power failure.

There are three different types for batteryless telephone system as follows,

It always connected by two direct-way type batteryless telephoen, e.g. one installed in Wheelhouse, the other installed in Engine Control Room.

It is also called selective type batteryless telephone system. The basic system consists of up to 12 batteryless telephones. Each telephone with a 12-way selector switch for selective calling between all connected stations. The system can be increased to 24 extensions.

It is connected by a selective-type telephone used as main stations, and some direct-way type telephone used as sub station. Main station can communicate with any sub station, but the sub stations can not be communicate with each other.

The above different types can be chose according different requirements.
